If I said, “We all must do what we can to save the Rainforests”…what would you actually hear?
More importantly, what would you actually do?
It certainly stands to reason I would write a blog post about the Rainforests.
I’m very vocal about my bond with the natural world and I encourage everyone who will listen to connect with Mother Earth as well.
Yes, preservation of the Rainforests is a hot topic. Everybody’s getting on the “Green” train.

Someone sent me a birthday wish via email titled “birthday wishes sample”. Naturally I thought it was for me since my birthday is in July but when I opened it was a birthday wish of another kind.
If you’re looking for a birthday wishes sample, I’ve got hundreds of thousands to share with you…and they are all written to one, amazing woman; Aung San Suu Kyi – Pro-democracy leader of Burma…Nobel Peace laureate…19 year political prisoner.
Now, political and social commentary is not what I do.
My reasoning for raising awareness of …

To Start Your Own Animal Shelter, all you need is a heart, a soul and a little bit of love.
I’m very vocal about my love and respect for the natural world…especially as it pertains to animals. So much so, I’ve heard (a few times), “Colette, why don’t you start your own animal shelter”?
Each time I pray, speak or think about the animals with whom we share this earth, I’m overcome with emotions.
I work hard to stay focused on the love and respect I have for all the natural world, knowing my doing so will help manifest safety and security for those souls who depend, so much, on us.

I Heart You Poems #1:
“Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of the genius”.
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
For those of you who don’t know what the popular term “I Heart You” is all about, it’s a cute, creative, way to say, “I love you” and a particular favorite when used as the picture to the right shows.
I Heart You Poems are, then, poems about love, relationships and, of course, our hearts.
You might be …

Chances are, you’re one of the 23,638,942 (as of the writing of this post) people who’ve seen the “Otters Holding Hands” video on YouTube.
If you haven’t seen it…
Now, I’ll bet you’re thinking,
Here we go again. Colette’s going to tell us this is a perfect example of;
We are all one
We should spread the love
We should live in balance with the natural world
Actually, I’m not going to do that.
I don’t have to…because you did it for me!
More importantly, you did it for yourselves.
Which is a great thing.
It’s along the same lines of …

“God Does Not Play Dice” vs. “Gentlemen, Place Your Bets”
- Albert Einstein-God
Albert Einstein is often quoted as having repeatedly proclaimed, “God does not play dice with the universe”.
A recent trip to Los Angeles found me wandering about a bookstore in the airport terminal. As usual I looked to the Science area of the magazine rack to see what might be of interest.
The cover of Scientific American caught my attention.
And on the cover?
“WAS EINSTEIN WRONG”?
The subtitle of the article, “Quantum weirdness defies special relativity”, made the March 2009 issue a …

To say confession is good for the soul is the understatement of the millennia. If you want facts to substantiate this claim, I’ve got a couple million of them.
I’ve been in bed most of the week due to the “very nasty and inconvenient virulent flu virus” which mugged me at the seminar I gave in Phoenix last week. For all intents and purposes I couldn’t talk so I got the chance to catch up on some reading.
Whoa! Am I glad I did!
In doing a bit of research for my third …

“Think occasionally of the suffering of which you spare yourself the sight”.
- Albert Schweitzer
Several months ago, in my blog post “Start Your Own Animal Shelter“, I sent out a request for everyone to consider how they may help…do their share for…all animals whose safety and well being we are responsible for…who have been entrusted to us by Spirit.
I sent out a call to action for volunteers at shelters, pet foster families, monetary donations, the sending of love and saying of prayers.
Whatever you can do…please…do.
The response was not surprising so many …
