Hi Colette,

For the past 2 years, I had a relationship with a guy who played games. Okay. I was a willing participant and we ended up breaking up for the second time. I believe that I have been repeating the unconscious pattern in three of my past relationships. I dated a young man with no problems, another young man (mama’s boy) with a drug problem, an abusive man with whole lots of problems, and finally a seemingly good hearted man who couldn’t stop playing mind games with me yet a mama’s boy. Just like that, I was single. Two months now and I’m trying to figure out my pattern of finding dysfunctional men. Who knew?
It’s been 2 months of singledom and I want to find Mr. Right instead of Mr. Dysfunctional. Is there any hope for me Colette or am I doomed to repeat the same dysfunctional pattern for the next couple of days?

Colette,

After the birth of each of my had kids my heart went through a period whee it burst to overflowing with love for them…this also translated into an increased love for everyone in the world. While the honeymoon effect has worn off somewhat, I find I have much higher levels of love to give others now, and I also find I have much more compassion for others.

It just shows that love is the gift that keeps on giving. The more love you get, the more you can give. The supply of love is infinite!

I just recently went thru some relationship issues and what I can say for sure is that the Goblin did a number on me. After doing a card reading, I realized that only I could stop the Goblin and reach for better thoughts. I did this with gratitude for all the existing properties I love about my husband and also by doing kind things for others. I took the focus off “me” and brought my attention to “I”. It took effort and awareness on my part and I have been able to see the transformation back to light. What you said about compassion, kindness and unity is true…I am doing my best to keep the focus on these words and feelings so that I may stay in the light and keep the Goblin and F.E.A.R from getting such a tight hold of me again.
