Dream Movies

Dream Movies
Movies we’re still talking about months after we’ve seen it…movies that inspire, that help us to evolve…that make us feel good…connect us with Spirit…these are dream movies.
When I watch movie trailers these days, sometimes, all I can do is shake my head.
I’m still blown away by what we have available to us now as compared to when I was a kid.
I’m blown away, further still, when I see the beautiful gifts we’ve been given not utilized for our highest and best good…movie release after movie release.
In my blog, radio show and books, I consistently speak about our co-creation with the Divine. In “Messages From Spirit”, chapter 16 is devoted to “The 27 Universal Unfoldments”. These are the archetypes and influences of the human experience that unfold from birth to death and they include…as they must…”The Artist”.
The Oracle message of “The Artist” is crystal clear.
“Spirit is the true essence behind every moment of your experience…the true signs of being in alignment with the Artist-or creative God Force within you-are passion, love and authenticity…”.
So, when movies are made, released and distributed which are not a Divine co-creation, rather, a clearly and completely man made product, I offer up a little prayer…both for those who made it and those who see it. I hope, the next go round, the creative tools we’ve manifested and the ones we’ve been gifted with are aligned with Spirit and something magical is produced.
To that end, Spiritual Cinema Circle and Earth Cinema Circle are two companies who co-create movies such that you could imagine Spirit in one of those director’s chairs, wearing the requisite beret and yelling “cut” through a megaphone.
In short…they’re phenomenal.
As each of the company names propound, the movies distributed are specific to the genre, though, I see them as a fusion.
Spiritual Cinema Circle and Earth Cinema Circle put together “care packages” of full-length feature films, short films and documentaries which are intended to educate and inspire us to reach out to each other as well as the physical and spiritual world around us. Those care packages are delivered to your home on a monthly or bi-monthly basis and are membership based.
Spiritual Cinema Circle was co-founded by who else but Stephen Simon; the producer of “Somewhere in Time” with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour, “What Dreams May Come” with Robin Williams and Annabella Sciorra and the producer and director of “Conversations With God”.
I think it goes without saying the types of movies Spiritual Cinema distributes.
Earth Cinema Circle has, as it’s spokesperson, Ed Begely, Jr. The company’s paradigm is high quality entertainment dedicated to “increasing social & environmental awareness”.
Again, I see the companies and their films as interconnected.
Aren’t socially and environmentally films spiritual by definition? And won’t spiritual films raise your social and environmental consciousness by pure virtue of their spiritual nature?
Sounds like the perfect circle to me.
Keeping with the symbolism of “the circle” each movie site has its own online community of “family.
Furthering “the circle”, what I find incredibly interesting is that all the films, whether they be feature length, short or documentary, are the co-creation of an independent film maker.
The films and everyone involved in making them come from around the globe…more circularity.
One more point about the circles…in his introduction video , Stephen Simon tells of a trend among the members of Spiritual Cinema Circle…and that is…gathering together for Spiritual Cinema viewing marathons..
Bring on the circles…the more oneness the better.
In fact, the collage of human beings, animals and landscapes meshed together in these many projects will beget powerful ripples of energy throughout the world spawning how many positive thoughts turning into how many effective actions?
Only Spirit can count that high.
As an artist, myself, when looking at all the multi-dimensional components of the monumental effort it takes to produce even one short film much less a documentary or feature length film I am awed that Spiritual Cinema Circle and Earth
Cinema Circle have amassed such teams as can coordinate the choosing and delivering 4 films to the member monthly/bi-monthly.
Now consider how many film makers it takes to submit enough material so that the companies may have choices.
That’s a whole lot of artists running around out there.
For that…and many other things…I’m grateful.
Check out the dream movies available on www.spiritualcinemacircle.com and www.earthcinemacircle.com.
Have a viewing marathon, have some popcorn…organic of course…and share.
Stay tuned as we will soon be adding ourselves in the ever widening circle as affilliates !
