The Healing Power of Water
You know, I feel like I should be annoyed I’ve lost a whole week of work due to the…OK…this is the last time I’ll say it…very nasty and inconvenient virulent flu virus…which mugged me at the seminar I gave in Phoenix a few months back.
But, actually, I’m really grateful to have had it.
My mind always runs a billion miles an hour unless I deliberately quiet it for a meditation, a reading or a seminar.
That week I could barely move, I could barely talk and, so, was in bed for hours…and hours…and hours…and HOURS!
I laid around and thought…and thought…and then…I thought some MORE!
Finally, I decided to do what the Dr. and my husband kept telling me to do which was, “Get some REST”!
The only problem was, I was already lying in bed…so how, then, did they intend for me to rest more than THAT?!
I cleverly guessed they meant for me to chill out, relax and quiet my mind.
So, I did…
Then…
I started thinking…
For several days I could NOT drink enough water! The combination of the cold medication (which dries you out like crazy) and the fact that we live in a DESERT was more than my body could take.
Dehydration was imminent.
At some point, I think I asked Marc to “just bring the hose in and leave it by the bed”.
While I was quieting my mind and thinking about all the water I was consuming, my mind drifted to my fascination with water…not just at that moment in my life but always.
I am, after all, ruled by the moon and most definitely a water baby, being born under the sign of Cancer.
For some years I’ve followed the studies of Dr. Masaru Emoto.
For those of you unfamiliar with Dr. Emoto’s work, he’s penned two books, The Message From Water and The Hidden Messages in Water.
In these international best sellers, Dr. Emoto reveals the outcome of his experiments with water.
Using high-speed photography Dr. Emoto is able to chronicle how molecules of frozen water change formation when exposed to different “intentions”.
Some experiments involve the playing of different types of music, some writing a word or words on paper then setting the paper next to a container of water and, my favorite experiment of all, simply sending “thought†to a specific vessel of water.
No matter the different mechanics of sending the individual type of “intent”, Dr. Emoto and his camera compiled substantial and conclusive data proving water physically changes dependent upon the type of intent sent to it.
Here is a brief look at some of the data:
- Water exposed to Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony created solid, well formed crystals
- Water exposed to Mozart’s 40th Symphony created delicate crystals
- Water exposed to violence based Heavy Metal created fragmented and malformed crystals
- When the words “Thank You” were written on paper then wrapped around a bottle of water with the words facing inward, perfect hexagonal crystals were created
- When the word “Fool” was written on a paper then wrapped around a bottle of water with the words facing inward, the result was very similar to the crystal formation resulting from the water’s exposure to violent Heavy Metal music…the crystals were fragmented and malformed
- The resulting crystal formations which form only from “thought” being sent to them mirror the results using “tangibles” (i.e. music, words on paper). Positive thought creates beautiful, well formed crystals while negativity brings about fragmentation, malformation and, in many instances, no formation at all.
Our bodies are 70% water…see where I’m going with this?
Everything you read, say, listen to…experience…STAYS in you…BECOMES you…or should I say…you become IT.
That’s why it’s so incredibly important to be good to yourself and be good to, not just others, but EVERYTHING!
During one of my most relaxing moments, I sat straight up in my bed when it hit me…
“I showed the movie Water at the intensive I gave in Phoenix and they LOVED it! Of COURSE I have to blog about water”!
Hence, this post that I wrote while I was following my Dr./husband’s orders and “getting some rest”.
And, hence, why I’m grateful I was sick for a week…it gave me time to THINK…uhh…I mean rest!
Water acts outside all known physical laws of the Universe.
Boy, do I ever know that…I keep drinking it and it keeps disappearing!
On another note I will be releasing a new wonderful IN-Vizion ™ process meditation called The Sound of The Sun.
My friend and colleague astro-physicist David Sereda introduced me to the movie Water this past summer and when we watched it together we discussed how he did an experiment with one of the Russian scientists involved in the making of the film.
He exposed regular tap water to digital recordings taken by Nassau of the sound of the sun. The water molecule was visibly altered and restructured once exposed to the sun’s sound frequency.
I asked him if we could do a project together and, ta-da, the Sound of the Sun meditation download was created. You can learn more about this in the digital music store.
I most definitely found that while using it as a process in my Intensive, people really noticed the difference in how they felt. I am very excited that we will be able to offer this experience to others.
Well…back to bed.
But first a glass of water…with Infinite Love and Gratitude beamed into it.

Cheers!!!
Here’s to loving thoughts and well-being
Great blog! I try to practice this everyday when drinking my water…calling it my love water. I believe it really works!
I’ve also been realizing that I haven’t been drinking enough, to my own detriment (headaches, etc.)… So this past week has also been an homage to water for me. So simple, and powerful. I love the “water baby” picture!

However unsure you are about the wisdom of their plans, they're actually far more knowledgeable than you imagine. Ask them for explanations. The resulting discussions will be as informative as they are reassuring. By Shelley von Strunckel
Now that Neptune has joined your ruler Venus in the visionary sign of Pisces, you'll find that suddenly your intuition is amazingly clear. Often issues are best discussed frankly and openly, and as soon as possible after they arise. However, many pivotal facts are either unknown or misunderstood. That being the case, take it slowly. Say what you must but no more. And remain silent until all the necessary information comes to light. By Shelley von Strunckel
Every once in a while it's important to review what you do with your time and to consider what and who you put first in your life. While you might think you've got your priorities right, give some thought to these matters and you'll realise you're short-changing some and wasting considerable time on others. By Shelley von Strunckel
Sometimes challenging situations involving already rather uptight individuals are best approached with a light touch. While you may think there's nothing funny or humorous to be found, the actual process will cast the proceedings in a fresh perspective. You might even stop taking things quite so seriously, which alone is an achievement. By Shelley von Strunckel
Don't mistake the suggestions made by others that certain once important ventures might need to come to a conclusion as criticism. The fact is, you've been thinking exactly the same yourself, but have been unwilling to acknowledge it. The real problem is your own pride. Tackle that and everything else will be easy. Arrangements you've struggled to organise are falling apart. You can't help but feel that if they matter, you should battle for them. Take a look at the changes going on around you and, as a result, in your own life. These make it inevitable that some of those long-standing arrangements must go. By Shelley von Strunckel
One of the most challenging things for you to admit is that you've been outsmarted. It makes no difference whether the situation in question involves certain individuals or it's the circumstances you're dealing with. Still, not only must you admit that's the case, you're urged to let go of the reins entirely. By Shelley von Strunckel
Being a fire sign, you're superb at surmounting the kind of obstacles many regard as overwhelming. However, one particular situation has thrown even you. Frustrating as this is in the short term, what you learn from the actual process of figuring out ways around these will serve you well in the future. By Shelley von Strunckel
Yet again you've made the mistake of trusting somebody else to do a job for you. Actually, that isn't the problem. They did what was necessary, but not with the care or thoroughness you'd have employed. Which is why you didn't mention it. You unwisely assumed they would be as conscientious as you are. By Shelley von Strunckel
As an Aquarius, although you don't notice it, you're far more interested in what others are both thinking and doing than most. This means that often you understand them better than they do themselves. Bear this in mind now, as you discuss sensitive matters and you'll realise why they seem so lacking in self-awareness. By Shelley von Strunckel
At times progress is marked by new experiences, exciting encounters or achievements. However, the kind of progress you're making could just as well involve recognising that you really must say farewell to certain alliances, activities or even goals. This may seem unfair, but they part of the past and would be a real distraction. By Shelley von Strunckel
