I Heart You Poems
“Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of the genius”.
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
For those of you who don’t know what the popular term “I Heart You” is all about, it’s a cute, creative, way to say, “I love you” and a particular favorite when used as the picture to the right shows.
I Heart You Poems are, then, poems about love, relationships and, of course, our hearts.
You might be asking yourself, “How do I Heart You Poems fit into the serious metaphysics and spirituality Colette usually teaches and is she about to get all “woo-woo” on us”?
I Heart You Poems #2:
“We can do no great things; only small things with great love”.
- Mother Theresa
See, I can talk about science, metaphysics and, even, quantum physics and how it relates to spirituality – to the heart - all day long.
And, often times, I do.
I’m completely committed to disseminating the most up to date and accurate data on the correlation of science, metaphysics and quantum physics to spirituality.
But it does not escape me that everyone is not cut out for heavy-duty science and spiritual lessons on a regular basis.
Because I recognize that, I am doing the very thing Mother Theresa spoke about.
I’m doing something small, but with great love.
I am lightening up!
(At least for this post anyway!)
Sometimes I need to reach out and remind people…myself included… not to get so caught up in earthly minutia but to take a step back, breathe, trust and “know” all is well.
This is especially important as we move into 2012.
I Heart You Poems #3:
“The heart has reasons that reason cannot know”.
-Blaise Pascal (1623-1662)
People are acting with such an incredible sense of urgency even when it comes to the most mundane of tasks.
Some of us recognize it and know “why”.
Some don’t recognize it at all. For them, it just seems as though the world is getting to be a “crazier place to live”.
There is no mistaking the rapidity with which we find ourselves hurtling through our day…through our lives…is directly caused by changes in the Earth’s magnetic field
Yet that is only one reason.
Never forget there are innumerable reasons we don’t know.
I Heart You Poems #4:
“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all”.
- Aristotle (384BC-322BC)
As we move further into the 2012 dimensional shift, we must take care of our hearts.
We must “educate” our hearts.
When I first read the Aristotle quote above, I loved it. But, then, I began wondering, “How does one “educate their heart”?
I Heart You Poems #5:
“Wherever you go, go with all your heart”
-Confucious (551-479BC)
Thank you Mr. Confucious. That answers my question and makes perfect sense.
The Earth’s energy is changing and we certainly run the risk of changing right along with it. Especially if we don’t “educate” our hearts.
Meaning…we can control the frequency of the energy our heart puts out. And we can be aware of the energy we take in.
Remember I’m keeping this post lighter than my regular posts so I won’t go in depth into the science of the hearts energetic frequencies. You can read about that in The Global Coherence Initiative or The Institute of HeartMath.
Though I love the science behind all this – all the “why’s” and “wherefore’s” educating the heart really does boil down to one simple concept.
Love.
You may be thinking, “Duh! I got all the way through this post for Colette to tell me about love? I know about love. I am love”!
Really?
When you read each of the “I Heart You Poems”…what happened?
Did you rush through them because you were in too much of a hurry to enjoy the love I’m sending in this post – the love the authors of the quotes were sending when they made their statements?
Did you sit back for a moment or two and reflect on the quotes, relaxing for, maybe, the first time in your day?
You may think of the quotes I chose to use as only just that – quotes. But I see those words as some of the most beautiful poetry there is to be read.
Too many time we forget about love as we go about our day. We have to make this deadline, we have to go to that function, we have to….we have to…we have to…!
No you don’t.
No I don’t.
I Heart You Poems #6:

“The only thing we truly have to do in this life…is love.”

perfect, colette!
thanks for encouraging BALANCE!
I Heart You too and embrace your beautiful heart for being who you are and reminding us how magnificent life is when it is love.
I’m hearting you too! You’re such an amazing inspiration. You’re a huge dispenser of love and beauty, and I love it!
Hi Colette Thank you! Yes “Love” is all we need!! Makes one feel Great!!
Some years back, I had a “Near Death Experience” for about 4 minutes. Before I returned to earth, I asked GOD, “How will I know YOU?”, and HE said “LOVE”. I’ve been learning about LOVE every since. For example, when I pray for children (mines and others), I picture myself as a guard on a bridge not letting anything by that will hurt them. In spirit that takes LOVE because I sacrifice for them. I choose not to be afraid to face whatever approaches for them and to protect them with my own self. I thank GOD for this knowledge because it has grown me spiritually. Be blessed with this…..
“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all”.
With out love there is no joy, no peace, no comfort, no understanding and no meaning to living. Life will be unbareable and we will be lost in a void that will never end.
So lets teach by loving and the world’s light will never die. May the love of God light your path and those that follow. Thank you Colette for shining your light.
Leave your response!

Daily Stars with Shelley von Strunckel
www.shelleyvonstrunckel.comThere are several interpretations for the current alliance between Venus and Uranus in your sign, all of which involve surprises. While some might be welcome, others could seem worrying, at least at first. In every case they're worth exploring. The more you learn, the more the resulting developments will delight you. By Shelley von Strunckel
It was only a week ago that the planet of vision, Neptune, moved into its own sign, Pisces. This triggered a period of questioning about certain values and objectives you've regarded as unchanging. Once, perhaps, they were. But this is bringing changes in the world around you and, in some way, in everybody's life. By Shelley von Strunckel
While you'd admit to flaws in your character, stubbornness is not one of them. You are, however, urged to examine several situations in which you've simply refused to consider making changes, if not letting go of plans. True, you regard these as essential. Ask a few questions, and you'll discover they're not. By Shelley von Strunckel
Logic will get you a long way. It eliminates confusion and enables you to discuss plans with a clear mind. However, certain tricky individuals require a very different approach. Central to this lighter touch is humour. Once you're able to view the proceedings with humour, you'll realise you've had a very real breakthrough. By Shelley von Strunckel
You sometime stick with a plan or a passion more out of ego than because of logical reasons. Think of this now, before you become so involved in certain arrangements you'd have trouble disentangling yourself from them. Out of character as taking it slowly may be, it's your best option. By Shelley von Strunckel
Don't make the mistake of thinking that there's honour in fighting for certain arrangements that once meant a great deal to you. Not only would keeping these in place be a distraction, once you say farewell to them you'll be free to focus on far more promising, if unexpected, ideas or offers. By Shelley von Strunckel
It's time to acknowledge the only way you'll resolve one especially tricky matter is by standing up to somebody who's a bully. You've tried to satisfy this particular individual, but nothing's worked. That's because you still haven't acknowledged the only thing that has an effect is a simple, head on, confrontation. By Shelley von Strunckel
Only days ago you were battling against the idea of potential alterations in elements of your way or living or activities out in the world. However, you've finally recognised just how much these changes are needed, enough you're actually considering others. This is wise. There are many areas where similar changes would be timely. By Shelley von Strunckel
There's a difference between showing interest in new ideas, which you are, and actually committing to them. You know this but others don't. Bear this in mind, or certain individuals could easily mistake your rather enthusiastic response to these developments as a commitment, when you're doing no more than asking questions. By Shelley von Strunckel
To you, trust is fundamental to any close alliance, personal, professional or otherwise. So when you witness events that raise questions about that trust, you worry, if not become suspicious. While at other times that might be merited, the odds are good there's a rational explanation. You need only ask. By Shelley von Strunckel
Only a week ago, after over a decade there, Neptune departed your sign for good. While you may not be able to describe any discernable change, you'll begin to notice your thinking is clearer and your convictions stronger. Soon this will be joined by a return of feelings of confidence you thought gone forever. By Shelley von Strunckel
If you think an idea is good, that's enough. In the past you've allowed others' questions or even the opposition of certain individuals to keep you from pursuing something you regarded as worthwhile, and to your regret. Now that a similar situation has arisen, ignore others and do what you think is best. By Shelley von Strunckel
