Science and 2012 (Part One)

Science and 2012

In my post, “2012; The 5 W’s and One H” (Part One), I approach the matter of 2012 from the perspective of working as one to manifest the positive energy needed to combat the growing fear and negativity surrounding the subject and help the world make the transition through the global shift an easy one.

Now that mainstream media has latched onto 2012 as an attention grabber and money maker, there is more reason than ever to stay mindful of creating and releasing all the love we can. Equally important is doing your share to spread the word.

I know there are those of you out there who read my material and that of other “alternative” thinkers but would feel uncomfortable speaking to friends and family about the topics covered – especially if you agree with them. You’re afraid people will think you’ve lost your mind and turned all “New Age-y”.

I understand your trepidations. I really do.

But now is the time to move past the fear (your inner Goblin – from my Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Cards) that keeps you from initiating these conversations and expressing your opinions. It is imperative for the well being of our planet and, in that, ourselves.

Just like it’s my job to spread the word, the onus of responsibility rests on you as well. To help you feel more secure in your effort to raise awareness, over the next few blog posts, I’ll be offering scientific facts which are irrefutable (based on the scientific knowledge we have available to us today) and offer real answers to the biggest questions and disbeliefs about 2012.

Every day I encounter at least one person who looks upon the notion of “sending good energy” as airy-fairy-Hippie-New Age-fantasy nonsense and would never equate it with real science.

Gregg Braden www.greggbraden.comEnter Gregg Braden and a host of other scientists who have data to the contrary.

Some of you will know Gregg as one of my fellow Hay House authors. Now, allow me to acquaint you with some of his incredibly valuable work and that of some of his esteemed colleagues.

For starters, Gregg’s resume as a scientist elicits the appropriate “Wow’s!”.

“Following a successful career as a Computer Geologist for Phillips Petroleum during the 1970s energy crisis, he became a Senior Computer Systems Designer for Martin Marietta Defense Systems during the last year of the Cold War. In 1991 he was appointed the first Technical Operations Manager for Cisco Systems where he led the development of the global support team that assures the reliability of today’s Internet”.

Bottom line? The man knows what he’s talking about.

In taking first things first, a magnetosphere is the magnetized area around and possessed by an astronomical object – in this case, earth. The magnetic field we’re surrounded by varies, over time, in strength and position.

To track these changes the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has weather satellites (Geosynchronous Operational Environmental Satellites – GOES) which measure the Earth’s geomagnetic field.

The articles I could – and probably will over time – write about the effects of the Earth’s magnetic field on our physical bodies is extensive, to say the least.

But, for the purposes of this post, one particular set of data is of tantamount importance and that is the magnetic field’s measurements around the occurrence of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States.

Two of the GOES satellites displayed a significant spike on its graphs during the time of the attacks and for several days thereafter.

Without going into a dissertation on the scientific why’s and wherefore’s the crux of the meaningfulness in this happening can be found in simple fact that;

“…geomagnetic conditions affect the rhythms of the heart more strongly than all the physiological functions studied so far.”

Could it not be hypothesized, then, that if the heart can be affected by magnetic fluctuations, the magnetic field could be affected by the heart’s fluctuations?

The answer is yes.

And it is already being studied.

Think of the interaction as working the same way a cell phone does. Your cell phone can receive calls through the atmosphere and send calls back via the same.

For those of you for whom the blending of spirituality and science seems totally foreign, I urge you to consider this:

What other possible reason could there be for the spike in the GOES graphs before, during and after the 9/11 attacks other than a collective human precognitive effect prior to and an extreme negative human collective reaction during and after?

Science and 2012 3

To date, no set of scientists have been able to dispel the theory that those spikes were specifically generated by a massive human emotional reaction…a collective conscious.

Proving the theory, though, is precisely what the Global Coherence Initiative is doing and Gregg Braden is very much a part of that initiative.

In Science and 2012 (Part Two) I’ll delve deeper into the initiative and how magnetic interaction between us and the earth can be used to safely transition our civilization through the 2012 shift.
