BLOG-Gratitude List

Dearest Sparkle Being- It’s Gratitude Time!,

I saw this great post floating around Facebook recently encouraging people to share their gratitude so instead of a blog I thought it would be fun if this week we might share our gratitude lists!

I’ll go first

I’m grateful for:-

The feeling of joyous surrender when I know I’m in alignment with Spirit’s will

Holding my husband’s hand

The routine of morning joy when my little deaf dog Sebastian wakes me up to go pee then snuggles beside me when I meditate

Light Roast organic coffee

Watching my other dog Beanie go to bed early at 8pm like clockwork

Trusting that all will be well

The sense of “enough”

The home we’ve been blessed to live in and the new people moving into it.

Knowing miracles can and do happen

Magic

Cashmere scarfs

Crisp Autumn air and changing leaves

Inspiring books like The Mists of Avalon, that I’ve read over and over

Dropping old resentments

Refusing drama in my life

Good solid friends

Salted dark chocolate

Sateen dotted sheets from The Company Store

Smiling

Being creative, singing and writing music

Oracle cards!

Seeing how my work can sometimes change a person’s life.

Feeding the birds by a pond….

Sobriety

Connecting to my Higher Power with reverence.

You for reading this!

Ok now it’s your turn!

Love to hear from you.

Love you always and forever.

Love Colette XO

This will be a short list for right now. Wanted to share a blessing out of the blue (well, maybe, just divine timing)…

Last week, I received notice that my company is rewarding all of us with a surprise bonus! Yay! Nothing better than unexpected money, eh? BUT, the best part??? Spirit prompted me to “invest in myself” I immediately “knew” what that meant….

I will be registering on Tuesday for your DIVINE WISDOM RETREAT in Snottsdale! (purposely misspelled 😉 I AM SO PUMPED!!! Looking forward to growing at warp speed that weekend!

WHAT am I grateful for? Rather WHO? YOU Colette, you, dear, dear, sparkly one!

You and your work have been a MAJOR catalyst in my life this past year. I have re-discovered “me” and my intuitive gifts, and am growing them at warp speed. I have healed on all levels and life is exciting again. I am SO looking forward to meeting you in person, and to experience, what I am sure will be one of the major events in my life, and no doubt a springboard into 2015!!! YAY!!! BIG hugs to you dear one! <3 <3 <3

I think this whole concept is a healthy exercise for everyone. We all need to try to focus on the positive in life. To that end, Here are just a few things I can think of right now.

I am grateful for three beautiful, intelligent, loving daughters.

For the family I had growing up and the ones I still have.

I am grateful for every night I have a bed to sleep in, with a roof over my head, especially when so many do not.

For every morning I open my eyes to realize I have been given another day to make a difference.

That I have the use of my limbs and my mind, however stiff or sore…they work and are functional.

For dream and my astral travels

For my imagination and curiosity and sense of wonder at the miracles of life

    For synchronicity

For having learned how to forgive and the reasons why it is such a fundamental part of the soul’s evolution

For all my grandchildren and great-grandchidren and the opportunity to learn from them and teach them

That I like who I am

    Every sunrise and sunset

The rain and thunderstorms and clouds

Every bite of food I have to eat, while so many go hungry

For the desire to want to make a difference ….to make life better for even one person…..for the world..this planet

For knowing there is a reason for everything and everyone we meet

For the modern conveniences so often taken for granted

    My empathy

My friends, though few….past and present

Every good intention sent my way

Love…..the one constant truth and reason for being

The opportunity to look for more reasons every day and those who inspire me to do so.

These are only the few that come to mind at this early hour of the morning, when I am half asleep. I enjoy hearing those of others, as well. They provoke thought and consideration, for which, we do not often take enough time. Thank you for asking.

Wow, great list and it helps to reinforce those feeling when we put them down on a list. As for me, I am grateful to know I was born with a gift, that throughout my life I have been extremely lucky in certain areas of my life, that I learned the meaning of humility early on in life, that I have a love for nature and animals and now have the best job in the world working animals, the fall season my favorite – harvest vegetables; cool, crisp nights; bon fires; woolies and snuggling, for you, Colette coming into my life while I was following a new path yet not really knowing it, the Oracle cards, the excitement involved in writing my books, knowing that I am blessed to have no major wants or needs and making time to reconnect with all my extended family, especially those I have yet to meet. But most important of all to reaffirm my convictions and beliefs and learn to follow and let Spirit guide me to be and do for the greater good. Still a work in progress.

I was just challenged to do this on Facebook. It’s a 7 day challenge. I intend to continue passed but I won’t bore my fb friends, as the ones with the most to be grateful refused to do. So I put it to a challenge to anyone to do. What a great way to end a day then to look back at what inspired you.

I did this as a five day ‘gratitude challenge’ the idea was to post five things each day you were grateful for, and though the list could have been in the hundreds, what it did do was keep me thinking of what I am grateful for all day, every day, deciding which things I would post. It was an awesome exercise and I think we should do it all year long!

I would make a list but so many before me have listed the things for which I am grateful. I just know each morning when I wake that there was a time I nearly didn’t wake and so it alone starts my day as being wonderfully blessed to just know that I have another chance to live, love, laugh, dance, cry, grieve or go through whatever comes into my life’s experience on this given day. Thanks to all for sharing so beautifully. I am grateful for being able to see such beauty of life shared.

    Hi Everyone,

I have been doing this as of lately. When I was walking by a Antique shop I saw this beautiful wooden carved box with lovely flowers on
it. I just knew for some reason this box would be mine. At that moment I didn’t have the money to buy it I was going through a very tough time in more then one way. Still I knew the box would be mine. when I finally received my first pay check the first thing I went to buy was “my
box” On the day the shops are longer open here in Athens Greece this shop was closed. So I was disappointed when I continued my walk home. The next day on my way home from work I took a different way due to the rain fall. Not expecting the shop to be opened because this was the day that the shops close early. To my big surprise the shop was open and the owner was sitting in his chair in front of the store. So I was delighted as a little girl can be. Because this box is my Blessing Box. I write on a note the Blessings of the day and put them in this box. So when i have days that I don’t feel blessed I can read them and remember how blessed I have been and always will be.

living in the country of my hearts desire
    blessed with 2 beautiful daughters
my 2 angel dog from a rescue shelter
    blessed with lovely friends
the sun that shines every day
    being creative
    good health
    roses
    and all flowers
    nature
    colorful hats
    colorful scarfs
    Tai chi

I am SO GRATEFUL, that I am that, I AM.

Which, to me, is the connecting piece that allows me to witness/experience the connecting peace within it All.

For which I am, as you are, as we are… we:)

I am grateful to dark skies, for holding such an expansive space for the light to shine. As I am grateful to the light for shining into the dark spaces. I am grateful for this relationship that exists within such contrast. I am grateful for the ability to choose in Unity, over an often seemingly illusive, yet pervasive Duality.

I am grateful for the gift to choose at all. To not choose. To choose again.

I am so grateful to the earth, our common grounds, shared by all, to which we’ve all come forth to do this big/little dance called: human. In this school called: life. I am grateful to All the other miraculous species on this planet. All those that have gone before us, are with us now, and yet to come; for their incredible teachings, selfless service, and efforts towards preserving and sustaining: life.

I am grateful for the intense humility and profound reverence that comes with the acknowledgement of such.

I am grateful for the interdependence within this Nature, of which we all belong.

I am grateful for our ability to remember this connection, to honor it, and to remember our harmonious relationship within it.

As I am equally grateful for evolution. The evolving, recycling of energy, that brings forth new growth and new life.

The greater intelligence operating in and through all seemingly seperate things, throughout all time, space, and matter.

I am deeply and forever grateful to all my relations, and all that they may be!

I am immensly humbled, and eternally grateful, to the guiding grace that has taken me into, and through the pits of hell… only to then show me how they are equally the seeds of heaven. May I plant them well, that they may be shared with all, that we may know how loved we truly are, and that no-thing be in vain.

    This is my wish.

For which, I am So Grateful.

    I AM.

-May ye be blessed, may ye blessed be, may ye be the blessings ye wish to see, as ye see All the blessings shared with ye!

    *Real Magic* abounds…! 🙂

All ways love, Love All ways
