HO HO HO… it’s Colette’s Favorite Things!

IN the spirit of the holidays and gift giving etc. (and because so many of you asked) I thought I’d do a year end wrap up of my favorite books, apps, music, websites, creams, charities, and whatever!

Ok so let’s start with books. I read. I read a lot. Books are my mind candy. I read all kinds of books and I re- read the ones I think are really good. So here is a list of old favorite books and latest books on my bedside table (and under it and on the side on the floor.) You will get a glimpse into some of what has influenced my thinking.

Now the list got kind of long so don’t let your head explode thinking you have to get all of them. Maybe one will stick out but rest assured in my estimation these are really good ones.

If you want to know more about the books go to amazon or other booksellers to read what they are all about.

My 6 Favorite Animal books :-

WOW that was so hard! That took me almost two hours since I had over 20 books in each category!
I hope you find something in here that might strike your fancy.

Now the easy part to look at just some random stuff I have come to love this year, and maybe you will too.

Dr. Christiane Northrup has developed an amazing line of products to support us women around the menopausal years. I swear by them. Have a peek :-

Next is my mushroom coffee I talk about all the time that I love that is packed with health benefits. It’s from Organo and I am nuts about the mushroom toothpaste too. (yes I said that):-

Favorite Charity – a loving place for disabled animals.

Favorite website – deep and thought provoking content

and – everyone needs more good news! :-

Favorite meditation music :-

That’s enough for now! More coming next week 😉

    Thank you Colette !!

Is your coat made from animals? The reason I ask, is your such an animal lover, and I am not sure if your aware of how much pain and suffering those animals go through. If not my apologies, I just want to be a voice for the voiceless animals and let people know the suffering they bear for our clothes, food etc.

    • Colette Baron-Reid

not a chance! My coat is fake fur I would NEVER EVER wear real fur even if its vintage. But thanx for asking . It’s a good copy though.

      • Trish

That coat is the bomb. I was coveting it, too. Happy that its not animals! It *IS* a good copy!

        • Barbe SaintJohn

          • Colette Baron-Reid

Love, love, love A Dog’s Purpose!! Can’t wait for the movie. I’ll never forget a quote by Bruce Cameron, the author “you may not believe in reincarnation but you’ll never look at your dog the same way again.” Thanks for the list Colette!

Thanks again for the inspiring blog message and oracle card reading! I bought a set of your most recent oracle cards and they help remind me to take a moment each day to check my thoughts and attitude before I start my day – even before I pray to my Higher Power.

I look forward to your weekly blog posts and oracle readings as it is my hope that I will become a deeper spiritual individual who has something to offer others.

Have an awesome week, Colette and all of your tribe.

    Hi Colette!

Ask and you shall receive! I asked you about your favorite books last week in the comment section, and you said, “next week.” Did you already know you were going to do that for this blog, or, did I see the future??!! Just kidding!

Thank you for the inspiration and love your choices!! Great way to spend some winter hibernation!!

    Hi Colette and Tribe
I love everything about this joyful post, and the first thing I did was to run to iTunes to listen to the meditation music love you shared. Listening to it right now… it’s beautiful! Thank you for the new music recommendation. Music is my daily vitamin and I am loving starting my day off with this.
I’ve also added to my book list so I can have higher piles beside my bed, LOL.
As usual, your loving and spiritual message is deeply appreciated. ???? Big hugs to you, Colette, your family, and to All.

  • katherine

The photo of you in your winter wonderland is absolutely STUNNING. You, the gorgeous coat and your smile. Picture perfect.

  • Laurie Z

Hey Colette! Funny, I am reading “The Mists of Avalon” now. I had an astrology reading with the fantastic Debra Silverman and she said, “Have you read The Mists of Avalon? You are The Lady of the Lake!” So I had to see what she meant. I’m 1/4 the way through – LOVE it! And it gives more depth to the Avalon deck as well. Merry Christmas!

  • Sonja

Oh I so love this post.
“a Holographic Universe” keeps popping up lately. Think that’ll be my next read.

  • Lindsay

Hi Colette! Where do you get your beautiful tops? You always wear the most beautiful blouses on your videos.
