Call on Kali to Cut the Ties That Hold You Back!

This week is the beginning of Mercury retrograde in the dreamy mystical sign of Pisces calling up opportunities to redo and revisit some of our leftover internal “stuff from the past”. I am one of those irritating people who loves the retrogrades because I’ve always seen how I can improve and shift my life if I don’t avoid them. If you work it right, you will slow right down, calm down, stop caring if planes are late or if your address book got erased and do the work required.
I see Mercury retrograde in Pisces visually. So, stay with me here and imagine a scene from the movie Moonstruck with Cher and Nicolas Cage when he babbles at her about how much he loves her the morning after they sleep together and she slaps him and yells, “SNAP OUT OF IT!” at him.
I kinda see the Goddess Kali the same way. You can’t BS yourself at all when she is called on to enter the picture. Got a resentment you’re nursing like it’s your new demon baby? Kali will help you cut the ties to your obsession and cut the crap and get accountable for your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors.
I love this goddess so much. She also reminds us to be careful of our destructive tendencies especially when it comes to seeing ourselves as victims when we act out in our addiction to codependency and misplace our rage. Her compassionate form in many ways invites us to self-forgive when we set ourselves on fire (metaphorically speaking) hoping the other person will get singed. Oh Oh. This Mercury retrograde puts a spotlight on such madness and urges us to stop the hurtful words and step back and let the dishonesty be revealed of their own accord. You can see this in action already on the world stage. So the questions to ask yourself are: Where in my life am I still tolerating BS? How am I allowing resentments to lead me away from my purpose? Can I set myself free from the ties that bind me to the very things and people that don’t belong in my life? How do I set healthy boundaries without completely cutting myself off from the other person?
These next three weeks are not conducive to black and white thinking, rather to a strong decisive as well as a more compassionate way to finally say no and cut the ties that are holding you back from your destiny. The Goddess Kali will always help if you call on her.

Especially Kali, who is from my own religion and it is wonderful to see her represented in such a compassionate, yet powerful form liberating women! I love the whole creation as the cards also challenge the ‘male stories’ that dominate our perceptions of such amazing Goddesses – empowering stroies I can tell my daughter! Above all, thank you for reminding me that I am not alone, but co-creating!

Each week the card’s essence seem to increasingly center on initiating inner change- perhaps in step with the Mercury Station in Pisces because it’s right at the doorstep before Aries at 29 degrees, and Chiron the wounded healer left the Pisces residency to walk with Aries — for new starts.
I adore your week’s reading, and found my 3 personal cards completely supportive to guide and eliminate doubts. I’m accepting the message of taking my shining energy and calibrating the broken personal thoughts to not only restart but reform! like a metamorphosis and I love the thought of renaissance. That thrills me and frightens as I write till I remember KALI to the rescue!! Sever! cut. Delete. Thank you Kali of many forces. But for this week Monday Mar 4, I pulled from your online deck. Wow. Arianrhod Celtic — Time’s my friend. Great to feel while living in changing rebirth. Then Danu of Celtic Assurance to trust the invisible grows. Lastly, Germanic Eostre signaling Yes! new Beginnings! My key’s to keep a beginner’s mind and I love this! So perfect to walk with new starts knowing the process unfolds and live with it. Be with it.
I know this is one LONG message to you. I’ve intended to write so many weeks for the past year I’ve gratefully received your guiding energy through the many decks and cards, teaching always the intentional meaningfulness. So, I figure I better express all I need now as I may not for umpteen times forward.
But what’s evident to me progressively, is this totally beautiful connection with the essences of source — divine consciousness. I totally always have loved mythology and so glad to embrace the entire world’s (in theory — it all takes time) senses of the unknown that speak closely and directly. Because I’m realizing every culture connects independently to similar forces through their own lens. Like Celtic Arianrhod of TIME — reminding one that time’s beyond the sickle shearing the crop. That the relationship of time and space continues to breathe through life and death phases till the fruit truly’s ready to bite. Or feed to the birds. Or juice for the whatever, but mostly to eat and savor.
Coming through a strong astrology focus, I relate time both to Saturn and Neptune. Saturn has structure and limits of Time’s up! Netpune’s of timelessness. Two nutshell captions — but still, Arianrhod connects both to say — live through the timeframes because your dreams and energy’s all working to manifest in due time. So, I feel like she’s now part of this big family of energies — many goddesses along with so many other spirited energies that live within us — perhaps on different time zones and climates and born from lifestyles necessary to shift valuable perspectives.
What’ I’ve said is probably pretty basic. But, the experience of feeling akin to these goddess is opening up through all your fantastic tutelage. You really bring home the truth of the natures — and cook up our moments just like life does. Thank you so much Colette. and yes, I do love the visual graphics too. Very capturing. Very important to perceive and helpful to accept their truths.

I just got to read your weekly oracle today & I just can’t believe how it tied into a youtube I was watching. All about renewal & erosion, Light, Dark & rebirth Light again. The yin & yang of life. To be grateful for all things & thank the erosion & thank the renewal. If we could balance those 2 in our lives we could face life directly & treat it with love. I happened to come across this link by searching these particular Oracle cards. I have no experience of tarot or Oracle whatsoever except that recently I developed an interest in listening to the YouTube readings.
This weekend while in a holistic gift shop I was ‘CHOSEN ’ by these cards as per the owner. Coz I ended up buying them as the only thing as soon as my eyes laid on it. Not knowing what to do while searching on the net I stumbled on ur page and read the description and was AMAZED as if u were describing my inner feelings.
