New Life!

WEEKLY ORACLE CARD READING

Do you know how much Spirit loves you? How the Divine Consciousness (Quantum Fred, God, The Dude, Mary and/or whoever else you name Divine) sees you as a spark of its own Infinite Unlimited Potential? That you are definitely not here as a mistake, that your dreams are most important and that your desire for a purposeful new life are sacred?

You’re not being punished or threatened just because transformation is painful.

Just like birthing a baby, we are at an overly prolonged crowning stage and yes let’s all say OUCH together!

Here is what I know today more than ever as I myself have stepped into a more authentic version of myself. Resistance is futile. Have courage and jump in and you will honestly find that if you let go of what’s not working, and you will see this change is magical!

Honestly!

You must feel this chaos at some level within you that mirrors the astrologers’ take on how the planets are teaching us about transformation.

At whatever level you’re being called to, there is a “squeeze”, a kind of invisible tension forcing us to carve away the parts of us that don’t serve our highest version of ourselves, and of course the whole. For some it means a complete overhaul that feels like a psychic demolition and others – not so much, maybe more like a slight paring down and polishing but no matter where you’re at in the birthing stages change is not something you can bargain away.

We can’t wait for the outside world to settle down, to be certain, to be quiet and peaceful, to be steady or to be built on the cleanliness of truth or integrity. We can’t wait to feel like the world is a place we can have purpose and experience prosperity only once it presents as stable.

Every one of us needs to stop looking outside at the structures that we built on our past selves and welcome in something new.

I know I sound like a broken record. But it’s TRUE.

Try this mantra: The Old has the Mold and the New is what’s TRUE … repeat as often as necessary.

We are building new foundations on courage, compassion, commitment, and creativity.

Yes, there is grieving. This week consider how you’ve clung to the old version of yourself and how it’s served you and how it isn’t anymore. Each mask was there to protect you. There is a sadness in the loss of the familiar. Choosing the unknown means we have to give up our need for certainty. We need the courage to do this.

We need compassion for ourselves and others since we’re all half-baked right now. We might stumble, make mistakes, revert back to the familiar.

Commit to your dream. Take a step towards it like you mean it.

If you do what you did you’ll get what you got right? So do something completely different!

A creative solution is what’s needed now and all we need to resonate with that is to be willing to choose something else. The solution seems to appear as if by magic, or as I mentioned in one of my previous blogs like Joseph Campbell says “one step towards the gods and they take ten towards you.”

Sounds ridiculously simple and it is.

So have faith my darlings, we are in this together and we’re all creating the world anew like a giant ART project.

Here are some questions to answer for yourself this week.

  1. What do I need courage for, and how can I practice it daily?
  2. When do I consider fear, resistance, denial, stubbornness, poverty consciousness and/or rigidity my go-to certainty?
  3. What do I need to believe to live a life I respect?
  4. What is one thing I can do this week to commit to my dream?
  5. What does compassion for myself, and others look like and how can I practice this one day at a time?
  6. How can I practice faith that a creative solution will be given me. Hint how can I get out of my own way, and listen with my intuition and heart?

      Ohhh Thank you Colette
I drew from Crystal Spirit Deck with regards to what you wrote in your blog and the questions you asked. I received a perfect, bang on response ( as usual ) in Smithsonite , Auralite and Blue Chalcedony- all relating to trust, the birthing process
( during which we are so vulnerable) knowing that I am always protected by Spirit, and being focused in the present moment which is free of fear.
Thank you for this reassuring and inspiring blog, Colette.
      Love to all.

Inspiring as always. Big rebirth for me in the last 4 months. And all of this really resonates. It’s all very exciting and a bit scary. But I know that I am living my true life. And spirit has my back.

Rebirth and leaving the familiar behind, stepping into a whole new world! I stepped into it kicking and screaming ( well not quite) but certainly hanging onto the old for dear life until last week I realized I was alive Now, right here right Now. Not back then but Now. I passed through the old, and saw the Now. The Rebirth was difficult but had to happen for me to grow and learn. I was never alone. My Higher Power was with me and many friends. I was blessed by my many Rebirths. This was a timely blog Colette. Thank you. ❤

Tara, I’ve been feeling that way, too – but, thankfully, Future-self is beginning to “take hold”! I can feel it, even though I’m not actually seeing any shifts yet (other than in my own “being-ness”). How are you doing with the shifting…? 🙂

I”m going to take your questions and ask one each day and do a daily reading based on those questions. Number 6 really has two questions, so this works out great for a reading each day of the week.

That’s great idea! Those are fantastic questions, and I’d like to revisit them as often as I can, too. Using the cards will be a bonus. 🙂

“If your mind is empty, it is always ready for anything, it is open to everything. In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert’s mind there are few. ” ― Shunryu Suzuki.
Transformation is an opportunity to begin with a blank slate. ” Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.” Henry Ford I know this can be a very daunting challenge for everyone. As a creative soul; blank means open; empty, ready, free, untarnished by anything. A  new chapter, invites us to create a sketch of what we would like to see unfolding. As a painter, I will usually do a  preliminary sketch before I begin to apply the paint. I also love jigsaw puzzles because you can only see fragments of the whole, and just beginning is the most difficult part because the human part wants to see the outcome. A scientist does many experiments, explores options, tests possibilities and from each attempt begins to gain some insight, clarity, and clues about the subject in question.  Staying open is the best way to see if we are heading in the direction that does serve the highest and best. Suspending judgement; just observing, and being present is helpful. As Kermit the frog says;” It ain’t easy being green”. I believe the beginner’s mind is the best perspective which is rich in potential, and can open doors that would not be possible when we feel we already ” know ” everything. When we are curious, and open everything is really interesting. Discovering is a wonderful way to live in a world that is filled with possibility. Equally important is to  know when to move forward; and to make a new beginning. Sad to say farewell; but that might open a doorway to something/someone new. ” To make a beginning is to make an ending; THE END is where we start from. ” T.S. Elliot

I lost my husband of 30 years to cancer exactly 11 months ago today so this and many of your blogs help me in some little way with coping. I feel like I have been reborn and am trying to figure out this whole new life without him and what is my purpose. Hopefully one day I will have some answers. I use your cards often for guidance and find them to be pretty spot on for how I’m feeling in that moment thank you 🙏🏼

This post is so timely – my sister-in-law seems to be having some kind of emotional breakdown. Clearly, her Soul is miserable, and dying to grow. Literally. SIL lives very small, solidly in stubborn denial, and is the expert on everything. Oh, yeah, she’s addicted, too, to opiates – and probably vodka. The people around her – her brother (my husband) included, cater to her, and her addictions and attitudes, but it certainly seems as though everybody is paying now – especially her. I can see no way out for her, but to change the entire situation so that she CAN grow. I shared these thoughts with my husband, but he doesn’t “get it”. HIS feelings are hurt, and he’s not exactly thrilled with me right now. He thinks I’m judgmental and unsympathetic – while, to me, it’s OBVIOUS, and I’m just thinking practical! Although it feels like an impossible situation, prayer has helped in the past – as has venting. Thank you letting me do the venting here. 🙂 I’ll go so some praying, now. Any advice is welcome! xo!

yup go to Alanon or get the Alanon books and read them and go with or without him. This is codependency at its best. You do have the right idea. his reaction is classic codependency.

Hi, Collette ~ Thank you! He’s been chewing on what I said – of course he has – and he realizes what I was intending to say. He wants her to make MANY more proactive choices, too, but that would take a miracle. I appreciate that you called out the codependent tendencies, and where to look to figure out how to handle it. XO! Thank you for putting yourself out there for us!

I’m definitely going through something of a birthing process, a transformation and I think this might be the toughest one yet. I keep thinking about what Churchill said: if you’re going through hell, keep going. In the beginning of this process, which was in September, I couldn’t accept that there was something divine that loved me, it was just too painful to believe in it and still go through all my doubts and sorrows – I had lost hope and I had lost my dreams. Now, I’m beginning to dare believe in divine love again, but I think it’s going to take a while before I’m out of the woods.

That was an awesome reading. I had started a business selling flavored balsamic vinegars and olive oils at farmers markets and had been thinking about expanding into gift shops, but not having enough courage to make the leap until now. I chose card #1 by the way. Before listening to the reading, the idea came up again and I started googling places. So this week, I am going to take that leap and hope for the best. Thank you. I have several of your decks and need to get back into my daily ritual of checking them and expanding my connection with God.

SO interesting! I chose 3 cards today all were 9 or added to 9. Out with the old, in with the new. Asking about my career forward just like you said look for something new. Nothing has worked so far but in Synchronicity in protection it could be those were difficulties because they weren’t meant to be & something better is coming. It was like a lightbulb went off when I heard it twice today. I am supposed to look at the little things & signs. I think that was a sign & there is something for me new & exciting that I have never thought of before. Thank you Colette!

Hi Colette! You are always so on spot!! That is why I look forward to your readings every week-and I know when I am late in the week because I stop and go “wait a minute” I do not know what the energy is this week!! I use your Goddess cards every day-such power and they are always right! For example, this morning my cards started with Nyx and ended with Maya-secrets not yet revealed just keep going and that what is happening isn’t necessarily something you have done because the universe is always involved too. Then…found out something had happened yesterday that had to be addressed in a legal way and the letter actually came in channeled. They wanted us to know they had OUR backs and what to do about it as I laughed and said “you guys started this on the Full Moon and retrograde on purpose didn’t you” because that person was triggered! Involving family too, you’re right the egg is cracking open whether we like it or not as Spirit says sometimes “enough is enough”. Having birthed two babies, that is MUCH easier than this-at least you know when it will end!! Love you!!

Just had to add something so funny-I chose card #6-Cleaning House upright which I SO need to do as well as clean up other sh&t-my double Leo card is Cleaning House in Reverse-stay out of other peoples’ stuff-can’t fix them this week! My Libra rising is Dragon Slayer in Reverse-REALLY stay out of other people’s sh*t-but they made me SO interfere with my husband’s business I help him with and write that letter!!! I also said you better take care of this!! And his Virgo rising will probably not make the change-at least after finally hearing the Astrology cards today I will SHUT UP!!! Hard for double Leo with progressed moon in Leo!! Also, my kids are Aries and Sagittarius so when you mentioned these about you -and my husband’s moon is Cancer-made me really listen! Poor guy is Gemini-air-in a burning house of fire!!

Hi Colette, so many resonant and appreciated elements in your blog on the inevitable discomfort and challenge of change! Focusing on the liberated beauty of the butterfly as though it were easily reached is super seductive (and rampant in the spiritual world), and yet much of the human journey seems to be about all the phases and zones in between / before then… Best to have tools and practices for that reality!
Having followed your work for years, I’d like to mirror too that I notice the changes-in-you that you refer to, and find your overall message and teachings to be all the more rounded, rooted, real, and potent as a result. Double kudos, and Namaste 🙂

Reverting back to the familiar…I think I began doing some of this in Feb/Mar this year. “Commit to your dream. Take a step towards it like you mean it.” I kinda stopped in my tracks, maybe even began to walk backwards a bit. But many signs have come to help move me forward…and I believe I’m ready to take some bigger steps with confidence and quicken my pace. I’ll catch up to where I was….and trust that I’m exactly where I need to be, every part of my way!
