Before you can begin to understand the process of manifesting your desires, you need to practice deep gratitude and the willingness to share that with others. This is the true nature of prosperity. It’s not about the things you accumulate at all; it’s about how you feel.
You’re invited to surrender to an important truth: there is always enough for you. There is enough time to do the things you need and desire to do, enough opportunities to express your talents and connect to your purpose, and enough magic circulating through the invisible world into the visible.
Begin your day immersed in gratitude for everything you have and everything you can’t yet see: the unmanifest, which begins with every breath you take. Know that you are enough and all your needs are being fulfilled, even if you doubt this in some moments. No one’s success can make you feel small, and comparing yourself to others never works. Your life is brimming with unique potential—focus on that!
When you hold this feeling of gratitude, it acts as a magical “open sesame” to the floodgates of abundance. Couple that with a playful sense of detachment, and you’ll find that miracles have an uncanny way of showing up in your life. Your intentions burst forth into reality with little effort on your part. There is hope brimming with potentiality. It’s okay that you don’t always trust this. You are not alone in holding the candle high for transformation.
Right now, contemplate how being in the energy of “enough” makes you feel. Eventually, you will have no attachment to what you do or do not manifest in the material world, what you do or do not have. Then, like magic, you have more than enough. What a fascinating universe we live in!
BIRDS OF A FEATHER

Have you ever wondered how people naturally gravitate to one another and discover a surprising intimacy and connection? There is a kind of magnetic energy, like an invisible ray of light, that gently pulls people together to form something beautiful that can be shared. As in the saying “Birds of a feather flock together,”
it comes from an instinctual need for belonging, you might say. We need community to survive, to thrive and grow. We humans are social creatures, after all; none of us are meant to be alone.
The concept of belonging is playing an important role in your life currently. Perhaps you recently found yourself in a group where you knew you were in the right place. Trust those strands of connection, for now is the time to thrive in the community! What you will find is a deeper and more expansive way of looking at the world by baring yourself to others and sharing ideas, hopes, and dreams.
However long you stay here in this journey of becoming who you’re meant to be, connecting to community and participating in fellowship is the best thing for you right now. You will flourish as part of a network of
like-minded and like-hearted people. Stick to what feels good and resonates with your heart as true. When you understand the value of this community, you will discover everything you’re hoping for . . . and much more than you’re expecting.
WILLING RELEASE
Key concepts: yielding to a Divine plan; releasing attachment to form, especially if something isn’t what you expected or wanted; leaving room for serendipity
Some days, you have to let go of your struggle to find an answer, and focus on other things for a while. This doesn’t mean giving up altogether or losing anything. Remember that in our co-creative partnership with the Divine, give-and-take is necessary. You do your part by setting your intentions and taking any necessary actions, but you must then surrender the form, the timing, and the “how” to your Higher Power.
There is a Divine plan for each of us. When acting on this faith, you may find that your intense desire for something translates into a feeling of attachment and entitlement. Right now, can you immerse yourself in this experience and allow the Divine plan to unfold as it will on your behalf, without interference? Can you be open to receiving what is yours, even if it is not packaged in the form you thought you wanted? Perhaps if you look deeper, you will see that you’ve received the perfect vibrational match to your most authentic wants and needs.
You have put in the work, defined your desires and felt them deeply, and engaged your Higher Power. Now you must let go and see what transpires. This isn’t always easy; impatience erodes the foundations of your trust in the Divine. Surrendering truly will serve your highest good. Knowing this truth in your heart—can that really be so difficult?
GREAT BIG LOVE
Key concepts: love without conditions, romantic love and how that experience changes you, deep and profound harmonious connections, soul mates
Love heals all wounds, begins all life. It sustains you when you are starving for grace, when you stumble and fall, and when you lose sight of your purpose and fall prey to the limited perspective of the ego. Now is the time to fall in love and call in the awareness of the Great Big Love that made you, which is ever pulsing through your veins!
There’s a heightened sense of awareness in the beginning stages of a relationship, when nothing else matters but who is in front of you. You see them, you see yourself in them, and you move in sync with the cadence of
your hearts. You surrender to the magic you share, and engage in a harmonious dance that is seamless in its movements, rising and falling with each moment, each breath.
Although this card may portend such an intimate connection, you don’t have to wait for a partner to experience it. You’re being invited now to explore love in all its beauty. Can you love without conditions, without needing things to be perfect? Do you love your life, what you do, and how you contribute to the world?
Today, invite Love with a capital L into your inquiry. You will be amazed, and your very question may be changed, as a result. Love is the strength you need today, the lens you must look through to find the truth and your way. Love is the way, the only way and the only answer.
SMOKE AND MIRRORS
Key concepts: seeing through the lens of past conditioning, the inability to recognize the truth of what is being offered, healing from misguided perceptions, moving beyond the illusion of separation, being accountable for your biases and the way you view the world
We’re actually built to view the world inaccurately: Our five senses tell us we are separate from one another. We’re conditioned to see time as linear. This creates a consciousness of delineation, separation, and finality. We have an innate fear that what we see is all there is. Although we know deep down there is more, we are suspicious of it. Our fear of death results from this kind of perception.
The entire world is a construct of smoke and mirrors, and our job is to discover the truth that lies beyond this illusion. Discoveries at the frontiers of science align with what the ancients have known: At the atomic level, we are blinking lights and empty space. Consciousness is fundamental, time can be bent, and we are eternal.
Ask yourself if what you see is really just what you’re looking for. What do you sense beyond your intellectual assessment of what is? Can you drop into your heart and soul and call for a vision, a feeling, an awareness of the true and authentic? Every day, remind your- self that you are intrinsically connected to all life. The universe needs you to learn about it. You have within you extraordinary magic with which to co-create life beyond your wildest expectations.
Today trust the inner voice that reminds you that you truly will find what you seek and more, even if outer conditions appear to challenge that. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Things are not exactly as they seem.
THE POWER OF PURPOSE

There comes a time when you realize that you are destined for something that is yours and yours alone. The catalyst might be an experience with a special person, a path you choose, or something you feel called to do. You’ll discover it’s not necessarily what you thought it would be and has nothing to do with what everyone else wants or seems to want.
An uncanny conviction takes hold from somewhere deep and true. You feel a sense of power arising from a true sense of self, accompanied by a need for action, a commitment to explore something, or a purposeful choice. Right now, you’re invited to step into a new empowered sense of authentic purpose, bolstered by a healthy dose of self-esteem. You’re called to release your old conditioning. There’s no need to be self-conscious or act a certain way to please others—which can sometimes take you in a direction you don’t want to go, anyway.
The discipline and will to evolve are yours by nature. This process doesn’t have to be a struggle. You cannot fail if you immerse yourself fully in what is in front of you now. You are exactly where you are supposed to be. You never have to seek your purpose or wonder what it is. Just keep removing the blocks to your essential self, and your purpose will find you—it’s that easy. What a wonderful thing to know!
CALL OF THE MUSE
Key concepts: creative expression, being in the flow of creativity, tuning in to inspiration, allowing creativity without being self-conscious, writing and journaling as a means of connection
When you feel the call of the muse, you are being invited to create, to be the artist choreographing your life, serving on behalf of the Great Artist, Divine Source. While the process feels intensely personal, your ego and self-identification are, ironically, the most unnecessary parts of the equation.
While you might think you own the magic of your creativity, can you truly say you’re the source of the inspiration? Similar to the spirit of genius from card 29, imagine your creativity stemming from another spirit guide: the muse.
Just as the genius needs to partner with your intellect, so too does the muse need you to open your heart and let magic flow through your intuition and emotions. Stop seeing yourself as the center of the process, and instead see your- self as a partner in a creative dance. Sometimes, you might be “inside” the music and the feelings, the story, and its expression. Other times, you observe from the sidelines, watching it all flow from an unknown yet deeply intimate source.
Today your muse is calling you to be a channel and allow the creative energy to flow through you. The energy of emotion is waiting to be given a voice, a name, a shape, or a color. Journal, finish that writing project, start something new, paint, sing, dance . . . and don’t worry where any of it lands. It has its own plans for you. Your muse knows where this is all meant to go. For you, the big magic is in the experience of answering the call.
WISH UPON A STAR
Key concepts: intentions based on your desires and aspirations, the act of consciously committing to a vision, sacrificing something of value, gambling on yourself, trusting that dreams can become reality, the importance of daydreams
Do you believe your dreams can become real, or do you shrug them off and chide yourself for being unrealistic? What if you could trust that the world around you holds promise you have not yet realized? Perhaps the point all along is not how something can happen, but the power of wishing and intending.
We humans have multiple ways to ritualize “owning” a dream we want to see manifest in physical form. Think of a wishing well: you infuse a coin with your intention, tuning in to the feeling of having a particular experience. Tossing the coin into the well symbolizes the act of letting the “how” go, walking away, and allowing the universe to do its part in the co-creative partnership. Another method is to wish upon a star. In doing so, you also look back to our origins, for we are made of stardust.
Today, allow yourself to dream and play with different realities. Even if it seems impossible, if it calls you and feels good, why not choose it? Wish upon a star, then live as if your wish were already true. Know that those beautiful dreams you have been nurturing are in the process of becoming real. Don’t forget that the act of wishing, dreaming, and intending is more important than figuring out the “how.” It shows the universe you’re serious about playing the game of life and you trust the essence of the partnership. Remember: every dream you believe in and hope for is a call to a twinkling star. The answer will come, sometimes swiftly, sometimes slowly. No wish is ever wasted.
BODY AND SOUL
Key concepts: taking care of yourself; seeing yourself as a complete package—body not separate from soul, centered in your sense of self, comfortable in your body; your authentic identity; physical health
Extreme self-care is called for when you receive this card. Answer truthfully: are you taking care of your self? Your first choice may be to care for others before meeting your own needs. Check in with yourself: are you experiencing HALT (hunger, anger, loneliness, tiredness)? Th is card is a signal that it’s time to take a break from your current focus and get busy taking care of you because you are worthy of this care! What simple things require your attention so you can function optimally in your world and live your best life, a day at
a time?
Another message that this card holds is about how you live with authenticity. Can you be at ease within yourself, “you doing you” with pride and self worth? Remember: you are a soul that manifests through a body—a spiritual being having a human experience—and that means you are here on purpose even if there are days when you wonder about that. There is an intentionality to your being here now, just the way you are, in this time in our collective story. You being here is important, for you are a precious being with a purpose even if it seems elusive some days.
Just know that life loves you—with that in mind, your job is to do your part to make your experience a healthy one. How you nourish your body, mind, and soul is directly related to how you experience your life. It’s time to put yourself first; then everything will fall beautifully into place.
SPIRIT OF GRATITUDE
Key concepts: the prospering power of prayer, communion with the Divine, expressing deep gratitude as you move through the world, knowing that your prayers will be answered exactly as they are meant to be
In prayer, we connect directly to our Higher Power. It is a way for us to be in communion with the Divine, a reminder that our lives are a sacred conversation we are continuously engaged in. Prayer lets us know we are not alone. A power greater than us acts on our behalf and is activated through us, suffusing our hearts and minds with a faith that is life-affirming, loving, and compassionate. When we pray, we acknowledge that we are only part of the equation of life, that a spiritual aspect is always in operation. We engage in humility, knowing we are in a co-creative partnership and have so much to be grateful for.
Expressing gratitude and asking to be of service is the most powerful, prospering prayer of all. When you focus your attention on appreciation for even the smallest aspects of your life and what you have already experienced, it’s like waving a magic wand. Everything you need comes to you without effort. Obstacles fall away, and your purpose becomes ever clearer.
The kind of prayer that will prosper you and others today is one of deep, abiding gratitude. You become a magnet for miracles when you are grateful and ask to be a channel for Divine purpose, Divine abundance, love, and compassion. The power of Source is within you. Now is the time to awaken it.
THE ROYAL YOU
Key concepts: sovereignty, responsibility, self-confidence, self-rule, ownership of your feelings and actions, a quiet sense of empowerment, being self-aware, not allowing outside influences out of alignment with your truth
Do you know what it means to express personal sovereignty in your life? It’s about how you hold to your inner sense of worth and integrity, secure in your belief that you have a unique purpose. It’s about feeling comfortable in your own skin, knowing who you are and that nothing outside you can challenge your authentic self, the hard-won seat of awareness that you have earned.
You are the ruler of your mind, and you’re being invited now to consider what discipline you need to apply to your thoughts. Are they consistent with the values and beauty you intend for your life? It is important now to
keep your focus on what is right and good for you as well as others.
Challenges in your life at this time, no matter how large or small, must be met with a measured response. If life sends you a challenge, can you speak up and set your boundaries with grace and surety? Calm, intelligent
leadership is called for now. Sovereigns know when to plan their battles, so stay out of unnecessary skirmishes and strategically wield your personal power. Now is the time to lead from the heart, from your authenticity and integrity. Hold your head high and know your worth—that is the mark of a true sovereign.
EARS WIDE OPEN
Key concepts: deep listening as a gift we give to others, understanding someone else’s needs, showing focused attention, tuning in to another and letting go of the ego’s need to be heard
The world is constantly speaking to us and offering clues about what is really going on beneath the surface of things. We all have the capacity to hear beyond the noise that reaches our ears. The challenge is when we feel
misunderstood and unheard. When we feel insignificant, it’s easy to overexplain ourselves in an attempt to get acknowledged.
Now is the time to let all that go. Offer your attention as the great gift it is. It’s time to stop multitasking, checking your phone, thinking of what you’re going to say next, and doing all the other things that keep you from connecting fully.
Whenever we are in a state of chaos and distraction, paying attention to only some of what is being said, we lose the ability to pick up on everything—including that which is not being said. Deep listening is the way in which we immerse ourselves in the truth of the world. In this way, with ears wide open, we also open our hearts and minds to understand more than what is conveyed through words alone. Opportunities arise from the subtle cues we miss when we are not 100 percent present.
Purposeful, open listening is an act of true respect and intimacy. When you are in this space of receptivity, letting go of the need to be heard or to be right, you become expansive and alert to meaningful potential. Right now, keep your ears wide open, and you will find more than you were searching for. going on beneath the surface of things. You are being called to step into your true power and essence. This is one of those times when you’re required to bring everything you are—all that you’ve learned, experienced, and integrated—and offer it up in service to the world.
When you take center stage, you will be noticed. Yes, as you shine brightly, you will naturally stand apart from others. This idea may bring up excitement and genuine pride or discomfort, but this is not the time to make yourself small to avoid the glare of the spotlight and potential punishment by others. It takes courage, but know that this is the right thing for you today.
You have come so far. You have been in the proverbial back of the room, in learning and gathering mode for so long, and this important time has served its purpose. You must now step into a new consciousness, seizing a new opportunity to share your wisdom. You will be like a lighthouse, shining through the dark, illuminating the way for others.
Be careful of the voices in your head that say You can’t or You don’t know enough or Who are you to shine? The better question is: Who are you not to shine? All you are and all you have become is by the grace of the Divine. Now it is your duty to share your gifts. Celebrate this!
A BURST OF MAGIC
Key concepts: an epiphany, a sudden higher knowing, a sense that everything has a purpose, your purpose as a gift bestowed upon you, cultivating conscious contact with a Higher Power, coming to know what calls to you and lights you up
Sometimes, you may find that something you’d been pondering or a dilemma you’d let go of revisits you without warning. It may hit you while you’re thinking about nothing, or the trigger may be just the right words arising in a conversation, book, or blog. An epiphany strikes like a lightning bolt, waking you up to a truth that has previously eluded you. It’s as if the whole world stops in that moment as you integrate the missing pieces of the puzzle you were meant to solve all along.
This is such a time for you now. Answers are coming directly from Source and being downloaded into you with such force of conviction that you cannot be the same again. Be grateful for this beautiful burst of magic; it is not an everyday gift.
Inherent in this is the knowledge that Spirit is always listening to you. Spirit is your loving partner, reminding you that you are not alone. Even when it appears that you are trapped, you always have a key to unlock the solution if you cultivate the willingness to be open to and in tune with Source. The answers you seek come when you stop looking for them.
Be mindful today. When information pops up out of the blue, pay attention. The action you need to take will become obvious as you integrate this magical wisdom. Regardless of the subject of your inquiry, you will be transformed. Only good will come of this.
BROKEN OPEN
Key concepts: the gift of grief, being shattered as a result of loss, the potential inherent in failure
There are situations in life when you see the value of loss, grief, and a broken heart. Yet it’s not the pain or loss itself that must be the focus of your attention here. No, not even the story of what happened, the details surrounding what has brought you to your knees, is as important as what results from the experience.
Can you see that this situation has broken you wide open, enabling you to have an even greater capacity for love, compassion, empathy, and understanding? You cannot be the same person as before. The only way forward is to move through it—without resistance or manipulation, without attempting to bargain with unseen forces—because none of your usual callbacks can put you back together again.
If you do fall prey to self-absorption or self-pity, it will just make it harder to get to the next gradual phase leading to relief. Yet even if you are prolonging the inevitable, you will get there eventually. The gift is in accepting who you’ve become as a consequence of integrating this difficult experience and allowing yourself to be more than you were. This wisdom comes at a high price, but the value of your experience of moving through and to the other side is unsurpassed. Love the you that is the result of being broken open by life’s challenges and lessons.
LET IT GO
Key concepts: forgiveness, healing resentments, shedding the role of the eternal martyr, letting go of victimhood, cutting the ties that bind you to a destructive story, releasing pain so you can move into the lesson it offers, relinquishing the need to be right
There are times in life when you must forgive, lest you become a hostage to your anger, frustration, disappointments, and resentments. This is not about condoning bad behavior or minimizing a hurt done to you. Forgiveness is simply a commitment to stop telling an old story so you don’t carry its burden anymore.
If you don’t forgive, old hurts fester and become distorted, causing you pain over and over again. You become trapped in a prison of your own making, tied to the story that you were a victim. It’s time to cut the invisible
cords attaching you to the situation and preventing you from moving forward! The truth is, you are victimizing yourself every time you re-create the unresolved hurt in your mind or speak of it with friends. Rather than allow this folly to repeat, surrender the situation to your Higher Power.
Now is the time for radical forgiveness. Say no to drama in all forms, and forgive yourself and others for engaging in it. Consider the ancient Hawaiian practice known as hoʻoponopono. This simple prayer is a beautiful way to begin the process of forgiveness: “I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you. I love you.” It’s based on the idea that we are all responsible for the reality we see in the world. If something is awry—whether it’s your perception, your emotional reactions, your judgment, and so forth—it’s up to you to clean it up.
Forgiveness is the key to a liberated and meaningful life. No matter what method you choose, just do it!
A HIGHER VIEW
Key concepts: seeing from a higher perspective, conscious neutrality, letting go of judgment and assumptions, nonattachment, the ability to remain unbiased
Sometimes our lives are suction-cupped to the ends of our noses, and we can’t see beyond ourselves. This happens to everyone once in a while; we fall into an automatic response to life and react from a learned, conditioned place rather than one of awareness. Being in reactivity keeps us repeating old patterns. Conversely, the avoidance of our triggers could keep us in our comfort zone, policing our attempts at new things.
The way to be successful in your endeavor to connect with others is to step out of your sticky perception of the world. Imagine your- self sitting on the back of a bird a thousand feet above your life: Wouldn’t your perspective change? From a higher point of view, you can see for miles. You could let go of naming or blaming the obstacles in your way and instead easily discover a path to more beautiful and compelling vistas.
More can become available to you in all aspects of your life when you are able to step back and get a little distance. You can wait before responding, be more graceful in your interactions, and see how everything is connected and every experience is a gift.
The world is wide open for you today. All you have to do is move to higher ground, be mindful, and celebrate the spectacle of life’s dance.
A GRAND SYMPHONY
Key concepts: inclusivity, being part of the whole, removing bias, seeing the interconnectedness of all, knowing that everything you do has a consequence, unity consciousness, the end of division
As human beings, we have a tendency to see ourselves as separate from others. This perception is the root of the cosmic joke played on us all. Although our five senses and intellect can help us manage our experiences in the material world, and intuition helps us navigate the invisible, we still struggle with the issue of identity and how we fit into the whole. You’re facing a paradox today: You need to focus on being your unique self, for only you can bring your own special harmony to the symphony of the world. But equally, you need to learn to be selfless and put “we” before “me,” seeing yourself as part of the consciousness that unifies us all.
You’re being invited to step back and seethe bigger picture until your individual part on the world stage disappears and blends with the glory of all life. It’s true that who you are and what you do counts in far-reaching ways. Consider this, though: when you listen to music, it’s the whole, not any single note on its own, that makes the song come alive.
So today ask yourself, can you be a part of something bigger? Can you put the principles and needs of the group above your own wants? Can you fully embrace the concept of unity in diversity by celebrating all the notes in the symphony? If so, then you will indeed be wise and whatever you are dreaming about will be
fulfilled beyond your wildest hopes.
It’s time to do your part to sing in harmony with others. Stay in tune, and learn the new harmonies and notes. Such sweetness will arise.
THE STORYTELLER
Key concepts: identity, positive self-definition, teaching others how to treat you through the stories you tell about who you are
Do you know the story you tell others about who you are? You are a unique being with unique talents, and a story unique to you and your experience—in fact, your destiny—can be found in the way you weave together these threads of yourself in the world. If there’s anything in your life you want to change, then it’s time to adjust the story you tell about yourself. Perhaps you are too self-deprecating or apologetic about how you shine, minimizing your power so others will accept you. Perhaps the way you voice your expectations
diminishes your ability to succeed, or you are too willing to tolerate a less-than-supportive environment.
It’s easy to be in denial when it comes to others and their behavior toward you. Understand, however, that you teach people how to treat you through how you talk about yourself. Once you recognize what story you’re telling others about how to treat you, you can tell a different one.
What if you could connect to your true power as a co-creator of your reality? The story originates in your mind: how you think, your conditioning and past experiences, how you view the world, and what you expect to see in it. The truth is, you have everything you need to tell a new tale and weave more blessings into the world as your unique contribution. In fact, practice speaking of your amazing success, your overflowing abundance, and all the love that surrounds you. Soon, the outer world will tell the same story back to you!
